About me:
My journey with photography started back in middle school when I joined the yearbook class, and from there, everything just clicked. I began with a simple hobby of photographing nature, pets, and school sports. Throughout high school, I dove deeper into yearbook and, by my junior and senior years, I had the privilege of serving as Editor in Chief. I led my classmates, helping direct and guide the creative process, and was honored to receive the Yearbook Academic Award in both my junior and senior years.
During my sophomore year of college, I finally invested in my own camera after years of borrowing, and by August and September of 2023, I decided to turn my passion into a business. That’s when Double S W Photography was born. Since then, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to capture beautiful moments for seniors, families, and couples, and I can’t wait to continue growing in this field!

It started before I was even born. From the time I was growing up hunting in the deer stand and duck blind, that passion has never left me. Every year, I count down the 305 days until the 60-day duck season kicks off. And you better believe, I’ll be in the blind every weekend during those 60 days, doing what I love.
FUN FACT: My fiance and I got engaged while we were duck hunting... now it's even more meaningful to me!
Meet DARLA!
Darla is my precious wiener dog. She has a ton of nicknames: Doo, DAR DAR, DOULA, DOODLES, DARLY, you get the idea. Let's be real, she runs the show around here! 99% of the time she'll be at a session with me.
If you know me, you know a good margherita pizza is my favorite. There’s something about a classic Margherita pizza that’s just unbeatable. It’s the kind of pizza that never gets old, and no matter where I am, it’s always my go-to. There’s just something magical about the few ingredients that hits different.
I’m pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications, with plans to graduate in May 2026. As the president of the Ag Comm club, ACT, I’ve had the chance to gain valuable experience and opportunities. I’m so thankful for the decision to attend ABAC, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me after graduation!
Detail photos are my absolute favorite! I love capturing the little things that often go unnoticed but hold so much meaning. There’s something special about those small moments, and they always add such depth and emotion to the overall story of the shoot.
Here is a detail photo I shot at the ABAC Bulls & Broncs Rodeo. View the gallery under the "Portfolio' tab!
